College placements:
- Companies directly visit top most colleges to select the right candidate suitable for position in company.
- The candidates those who are currently pursuing their Graduation/PG/diploma will participate in this process.
- Campus recruitments mostly from the third-year of graduation.
Placements are mainly of three types:
On-campus placement drive:
- Most of the companies follow On campus drives to recruit required and talented candidate for their company.
- Colleges tie-up with companies to recruit candidates every year.
- In this placement, companies have tie-ups with the colleges, so they visit colleges, hire good candidates as per their requirements, and offer a Job.
- For every student, on campus drive is a better opportunity to get placed easily into company where candidates having higher priority to be recruited.
Off-campus placement drive:
- Companies recruit the candidates outside to campus.
- Mass recruitment to huge companies follows off-campus drives.
- Any student can apply irrespective of college to get recruit.
- It is bit hard to student to get placed where high competition of candidates
- One can attend Off-campus placements during college or after college.
- Off-campus placements are comparatively tough as competition becomes very high.
Pool-campus placement drive:
- A recruitment drive for all colleges affiliated from same university.
- A student from different colleges can register for these type of interviews.
Walk-in Interview:
- It is the second option to candidates those who were not placed in their “On-campus” drivers.
- Walk ins are also used to professionals those who are already placed and want to switch the Job.
- There can be various interview rounds, and once you clear all rounds the company will provide a job as per your skills.
